Senior Living Kit was born from a lifetime of caregiving and a deep understanding of the challenges families face when navigating senior care.
Growing up in a multigenerational home, I understand the choices adult children have to make while confronted with the care of their elderly loved ones. I can empathize with older adults when they are needing to downsize their home and belongings.
Letting go of "stuff", community and your familiar environment is challenging to say the least. Facing any new chapter of life comes with some anxiety, but I know it is important to think of it as a new beginning and not a loss.
I witnessed firsthand the beauty and struggles of caring for loved ones at home. Later, I spent nearly 14 years in the senior living industry, learning how the right community can transform the quality of life for older adults and their families.
